Jakarta, wartaterkini.news–The community is greatly assisted and delighted by the National Crafts Council (Dekranas) Social Service program, which distributes affordable grocery packages.

This was expressed by Kustini, a resident of RT 005 RW 004, Cilandak Urban Village, during the 44th Dekranas Anniversary Social Service event, which distributed affordable grocery packages to the residents of Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta, on Sunday (3/3/2024).

“This event is very helpful because we can get affordable grocery packages to meet daily needs and prepare for the upcoming fasting month,” said Kustini.

The affordable grocery packages received by the community include 5 kilograms (kg) of rice, 2 liters of cooking oil, 2 kg of granulated sugar, five packs of instant noodles, one pack of shrimp crackers, 210 milliliters of soy sauce, 15 tea bags, 250 grams of palm sugar, 150 grams of fried shallots, 450 milliliters of syrup, 270 grams of wheat flour, and 270 grams of Tango wafers.

Previously, the Chairwoman of Dekranas, Wury Estu Handayani Ma’ruf Amin, at the 44th Dekranas Anniversary Social Service event at Rumah Kriya Asri, Cilandak Urban Village, Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta, on Sunday (3/3/2024), stated that the affordable grocery packages are expected to help fulfill food needs amid unstable staple prices.

“Dekranas' 44-year journey cannot be just a ceremonial celebration. I am very happy that this thanksgiving event has deep meaning by organizing an affordable grocery bazaar for the community around Rumah Kriya Asri at a time when staple prices are rising,” said Wury Ma’ruf Amin in her speech.

The Chairman of the 44th Dekranas Anniversary Committee, Loemongga Agus Gumiwang, stated that the social service program was carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) and the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin), distributing 500 affordable grocery packages.

“Each grocery package, valued at Rp250,000, is only redeemed for Rp50,000. The distribution was carried out in stages through three shifts at Rumah Kriya Asri,” she concluded.
