Jakarta, InfoPublik – Digital platforms are considered capable of effectively promoting local products through content uploaded on media.

This was conveyed by the Head of Promotion and Public Relations of the National Handicraft Council (Dekranas), Dina Budi Arie, during the 44th Dekranas Anniversary at Rumah Karya Asri, Jakarta, on Sunday (3/3/2024).

Dina Budi Arie stated that utilizing digital media is currently one of the most powerful ways to increase the younger generation’s appreciation and use of local products.

“Young people must continue to love Indonesian products. By publishing and sharing information, we can raise awareness among the younger generation about the diversity of local products Indonesia has, such as handicrafts, batik, and more,” Dina told InfoPublik.

She added that to reach young people and encourage them to appreciate local products, social media must be leveraged as a strategic solution to foster their love for Indonesian-made goods.

Dina hopes that in this digitalization era, Dekranas, through its promotional division, can educate the public to take pride in and love the diverse range of local products.
