MAKASSAR, RAKYATSULSEL – The Chairperson of the Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda) of Makassar, Indira Yusuf Ismail firmly supports the Kriyanusa Exhibition as a strategic step to promote the development of craft SMEs.
Held from September 13-17, 2023, at the Jakarta Convention Center, this exhibition has become a highlight every year as a premier event showcasing Indonesia's rich crafts.
At this event, the Makassar City Government, together with Dekranasda Makassar, participated by setting up a booth displaying various handcrafted products made by local artisans from Makassar.
Indira Yusuf Ismail hopes this booth will attract the attention of entrepreneurs, investors, and consumers looking for high-quality products with a unique local touch from the City of Anging Mammiri.
Furthermore, she also hopes that the Kriyanusa Exhibition will serve as a platform to promote Indonesian crafts, particularly those from Makassar, to international markets.
Indira stated that this aligns with Dekranasda's vision to establish local crafts as globally recognized products.
