TRIBUNSOLO.COM, SOLO – First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo, along with members of Oase KIM, distributed gifts and t-shirts while participating in the Dekranas parade on Wednesday (15/5/2024), which started from Sriwedari Stadium to Solo City Hall.
The Chairperson of Dekranasda Solo City, who is also her daughter-in-law, Selvi Ananda Gibran, also accompanied her.
Beforehand, Iriana symbolically opened the parade by waving a flag.
After that, she and the Oase KIM members boarded the decorated floats that had been prepared.
They rode on one of the floats decorated with the head of Rajamala, leading the cultural parade consisting of 104 decorated vehicles and a march of 1,250 people from PKK representatives across Indonesia.

Residents enthusiastically received the gifts and t-shirts distributed by the duo.
From in front of Sriwedari Stadium to the Ngarsopuro Intersection, Iriana and her entourage followed the parade.
Upon arriving at the Ngarsopuro Intersection, the honored guests proceeded to the grandstand.
Next, the parade participants showcased their creative displays.
Each region presented its local culture and iconic tourism attractions.
During the event, her grandchildren, Jan Ethes and La Lembah Manah, joined them. They then sat beside Iriana and watched the parade together.
This event was held in celebration of the 44th anniversary of the National Crafts Council (Dekranas).
Earlier, the event was inaugurated with the striking of a gong by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo (Jokowi), as the patron of Dekranas, along with Dekranas Chairperson Wury Ma’aruf Amin at Alila Hotel Solo.
