RADARSOLO.COM – The cultural parade celebrating the Dekranas Anniversary and National Family Movement (HGK) PKK, centered in Solo City, was truly lively.
Thousands of residents gathered along Slamet Riyadi Street, especially at the Ngarsopuro intersection, to witness the cultural parade on Wednesday (15/5/2024).
A procession of decorated floats and parade participants dressed in traditional attire from various regions captured the public’s attention.
"It’s amazing. I think this is the parade with the most participants. That’s why so many people are watching,” said Andini Putri, 38, a visitor to the Cultural Parade, when met in the Ngarsopuro area.
Another visitor, Alfian Noor, mentioned that this year’s cultural parade was the grandest and had the largest number of participants.

"I really enjoy seeing the costumes from different regions. But honestly, I also wanted to see Mrs. Jokowi,” he said.
According to radarsolo.com, First Lady Iriana Jokowi and the VVIP guest entourage arrived at the main stage around 2:30 PM.
The main stage was specially designed to resemble the Jaladara steam train.
Iriana looked cheerful. She frequently waved and smiled at both the parade participants and the attending public. (ves/wa)
